She strives to help clients tune into their best selves and navigate their unique journeys.
Marisa's specialties include working with intercultural relationships, LGBTQIA+ communities, couples facing communication challenges, and individuals dealing with familial issues. Her personal connections to these topics provide her with a unique empathy and understanding that enrich her practice. She has completed Gottman Level 2 training and is actively pursuing further certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
In addition to her clinical work, Marisa has contributed to the field through her publications in journals on addiction and recovery. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys practicing yoga, painting, and writing handwritten letters, which reflects her thoughtful and creative nature.
