About

I'm a multi-disciplinary artist and I've called Lockhart my home for the past seven years. I celebrate the richness of Lockhart and embrace the special and unique community here, every day the town holds something new and exciting.

I picked up my first camera, a 110 instamatic, at age eight, and became fascinated by the possibilities of image making. I still have a box full of exposed film from my childhood that I am slowly processing.

I continued photographing through middle and high school, taking classes and enjoying the process of dark room developing.

I have a history as a dressmaker and, at 24, I purchased my first digital camera. Using an auto timer, I made self portraits while wearing the dresses I created, and through that practice, I began to understand the inner workings of digital photography. 

The images I create are not of a specific region, but are anchored in experience, each image tied to a specific memory.

I believe that artistic expression begins with the heart and that art is the physical manifestation of our individual passion.

I truly hope that images I create aide in transporting you into another world.
