Jarrott Productions kicks off its 12th season with the Southwest regional premiere, and only the second production anywhere, of BISEXUAL SADNESS, a comedy from L.A. playwright India Kotis. The title is a joke. It’s also completely true. Faye is about to marry the man she loves. The catch? Part of her wishes he were a woman, because marrying him means fighting to keep her place in the queer community she calls home. A warm, messy, genuinely funny interrogation of identity, belonging, and love. What happens to who you are when who you love changes how people see you? Directed by Will Gibson Douglas. Featuring Kelsey Mazak, CB Feller, Christopher Gonzalez, Catherine Woodiwiss, Jacqui Calloway, and Violet Bolton. 

Trinity Street Playhouse in downtown Austin | November 5–22 

Thursdays–Saturdays at 7:30pm

Sundays at 2:30pm. 

Opening night is Friday, November 6, with a champagne reception to follow. 

Runs approximately 70 minutes with no intermission and no late seating. 

Recommended for ages 14+. Contains strong language and frank sexual conversation.
